Established in 2012 by Tyler De Francisco, Sugar Creek Meat has raised small batches of heritage breed hogs with exacting techniques. Each year less than 30 pigs are raised on the farm so that they each receive the room, forage, clean water, and attention they deserve. Our feeding program includes sprouted grains, fresh greens, walnuts, and pears grown on the property. The hogs are raised an average of 18 months to produce a deep and rich flavor. Tyler is a USDA certified meat handler and is therefore qualified to sell to restaurants as well as the general public.
